Maybe being in Magnum has made him "too big for his britches"... aside from his "flamboyant" behavior, I don't find his actual street photographs very compelling...or revealing of anything. I think if you jumped in front of people with a flash camera on the streets of New York, it would be surprising if you didn't get any interesting photos... I'm not sure that makes one a great or even a good photographer, Steve > > Cheers, > Nathan > > Nathan Wajsman > Alicante, Spain > http://www.frozenlight.eu > http://www.greatpix.eu > http://www.nathanfoto.com > > Books: http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/search?search=wajsman&x=0&y=0 > PICTURE OF THE WEEK: http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws > Blog: http://www.fotocycle.dk/blog > > > > On Feb 25, 2009, at 8:56 PM, Richard Man wrote: > >> You know, I was thinking about all these "punch him in the face" >> kind of >> remark on Gilden's behaviors, and Mark's earlier remark about the >> "loud" M8 >> also applies in this case.
