As to whether tube processed music like jazz, classical, blues, vocal and instrumental sound better on my tube amp to me? Yes they subjectively do. Do a different set/brand of tubes sound differently? Yes, to me. Perhaps its the slight distortion? It's kind of like using a film Leica rangefinder or Rolleiflex camera to shoot b&w. Either you get it or you shoot a digital Canon, Nikon, (insert favourite camera and lens brand here).
