If your lens has a black shroud that extends past the rear element with the cut out, then you should be OK. ?It should also not extend past the element by more than a few millimeters, I would say about 2/16 of an inch, I know this does not help you as you use the metric system, but I am not sure what the conversion is right now. ?;-( ? I hope this helps. ?I guess you could call Leica and ask them if yours would be OK. ?As to the images, I like this lens better with the M8 than my film M. ?The images have less flare highlight effects than it has on my film M. ?Overall a much better image rendition. ?I hope this helps, If not let me know and I will try to be more specific.
