If you like to use wides, you might have to invest in another lens or two to get the effect you were use to on film. If that is the case, then a smaller drop factor of the Canon and Nikon (with the change in lens mount) might be easier to swallow. If you are into the telephoto range, then the 2x drop factor of the Olympus might be to your liking. Is image stabilization important to you? Olympus would be the way to go. For me, at the time, Canon was the only option so I never needed to ask myself that question, but now there are so many more options.
