I've used R lenses on 10D, 20D and 5D.
(currently only own the 5D)

Negative Issues:
Hard to focus on stock screens.
Stop down metering and shooting
No auto aperture

Positive issues:
5D = full traditional 35mm sensor

Since acquiring the DMR and
I find it much more pleasant to use
Canon lenses on the Canon 5D Body
with full functioning auto potential
and
The R lenses on the R8/DMR
which ends up the kit of choice for 95% of my DSLR photography
