I, for one, feel grateful
both that you wrote it
and that you sent it to us.
One of the many wonderful things
about this list
rests in our getting to know each other
not only as photo addicts
but also as individuals.
Yes. Politics and religion can
get out of hand on a photographic email list;
yet, an occasional personal expression,
especially on an historic day,
can also serve us, as a community, well.
