The only hope I had in 2004 was that it was only half of the people who
chose to vote from a smaller pool of registered voters, not half of the
Americans per se.
Mr. Obama's speech says what we know is true - our country is great not only
because of our wealth or our military might, but because of our people and
the principles we hold dear. Today, once again I am proud to have
naturalized to be a U.S. citizen.
