Nikon insists that, although the basic architecture is the same, it is NOT
the same sensor as in the Sony. Hmm.
Right now it seems to me that they have by far the best implementation on
the market of any manufacturer to produce high ISO photos.

Much can be done if you have a few more $thousand to work with.  Perhaps
this is why the D3X costs so much more than the A900.
