That sounds like a Monty Pythonesque onedownsmanship challenge over whose neighbourhood has the crummier weather. As for frostbite, right now I'm at a bit of a disadvantage, the weather having warmed up to minus 9. Two weeks ago we had a spell of minus 31 not counting wind chill. My niece in Yellowknife (an 18 hour drive straight north) called to say it was 44 below. During a minus 46 stretch a couple of years ago I took some photos with the Leica M3 I purchased from you; the camera worked fine, but the film went all brittle and tore.
