Philippe, you refer to the Macro-Elmarit? If one doesn't require speed, 
there is nothing in the "normal" focal length close to it in pure 
image-making. An amazing lens that remained in the Leitz/Leica catalog from 
1972 until a year ago. Only the 50/1,4 Summilux-M had a longer run, over 40 
years. I've had the people at Optikos Corp near Boston do comparative 
optical tests on the 60mm Macro-Elmarit, the DR Summicron and the Alpa-Kern 
50/1,9 Macro-Switar. Will do an article for LHSA VIEWFINDER magazine on the 
tests.
