I don't treat it nicely and I expect it to do what it's claimed to do, write! I have had other Montblanc's that were prettier or fancier ($$) but again I just liked the feel of a nib. I have shattered more than a few Montblanc ballpoint and roller balls pens so I do know that they can be broken and as I stated earlier the Montblanc 149 feels good in the hand but the nib of the Traveler is now set to me... I have tried other fountain pens but the fine gold nib of the Traveler pairs well with me. Ironicaly, I have come to rely on Leica M6 and R6.2 bodies along with a few select Leica lenses. I have tried other formats (6x7 RZ67 II Pro, 6x6 Hasselblad, Canon F1N) but the mechanical Leica pair well with me. Just a matter of ergos, Wayne ___________________________ wayne@wayneserrao.com http://www.wayneserrano.com -----Original Message----- >From: Jayanand Govindaraj <jayanand@gmail.com> >Sent: Jan 2, 2009 7:09 PM >To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> >Subject: Re: [Leica] And so it begins... > >Gene, >You are extremely lucky, see the pen lists and boards for any amount of >horror stories.
