Subject: [Leica] Happy New Year from Denmark--WHAAAAT?
From: tedgrant at shaw.ca (Ted Grant)

It never ceases to amaze me at the sheer stupidity and ignorance and lack of
common sense politeness displayed by some people on this INTERNATIONAL
site!?

WAKE UP YOU GUYS! THIS ISN?T AN ALL AMERICAN SHOW WHERE YOUR ENGLISH IS
ABSOLUTELY PERFECT???? Now there?s an oxymoron!

The International members may make use of the wrong word, may spell what is
a common word to us of English speaking tongue, learned through birth and
education. But that does not give you the right to make fun of, nor make
some absolutely stupid inane comment, or question the use of a word when
?your so called education? should tell you. The writer is of another
Nationality, isn?t of perfect English and unfortunately made a word choice
in error! Get over it. Don?t make fun of the person!

If you were truly respectful of others you might consider a positive private
e-mail to the user about the wrong word or spelling privately. Do that as a
helpful person. This again is done with class and not written in a put down
fashion!

My bitch for New Year?s Day!

Ted

(no it isn?t a hang over of the grinch, its all about being polite and
understanding of others!!! )

!?

Not very politely put, Bob. How much Danish do you speak?

J?rn's meaning was perfectly clear.

We all allow for spelling errors here, that's a fact of life for email

anyway. We are lucky to have such a diverse group of nationalities

contributing.

Cheers

Geoff

I think you need to look up 'hymen' in your English dictionary...
