[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]Then by your criteria, every Leica from the point they added the rangefinder ?functionality is not a true Leica, since Oskar did not incorporate it into the original design. ?Now then, by my criteria, a Leica is a camera that is easy to use with excellent view finders, which makes the screw mount cameras not real Leicas as the view finders are horrid to use and the operation of the shutter, wind, and rewind features are not even close to the ease of the M and R lines, therefore the M and R cameras are real Leicas. So, as you can see a Real Leica is relevant to the user. ?Thus this is a really dumb thread, so I am going to go out and shoot with my real Leica M and R cameras. ?;-) Gene -------------- Original message from "R.
