Subject: [Leica] un-believable

To follow-up Nathan's comment, I have a Nikon D300 set-up with a 11-17
Tokina and an 18-55mm 2.8 along with my M6 and various lenses. My experience
with the D300 is that it's amazingly versatile but often, I find myself
thinking of it as I do my M6. For example, I have never been fully satisfied
with the automatic focus even though it has 51 points plus something called
silent wave focusing. Many times, I simply switch over to manual. I will use
it on aperture priority and set the lens to wide open and go from there. But
- I like the tactile sense of using the M6 and go back there many times
while leaving the D300 in the bag. Then...after shooting ten rolls and
getting them developed with CD's the cost jumps out at me. I love the format
of the M6 and the versatility of the D300, too. That makes me think that an
M8 may be in my future....
