Sorry if I escalated this thread. When expenses for film/digital are
discussed
I forget that many people take mostly or exclusively color photos. I am
used to
thinking of photography (my personal shooting) in B&W, where I do the
darkroom work,
and almost all color for myself has been on slide film, so there was never
an outlay
for prints. I take most of my color pictures in the autumn, and must admit
that this year
it was 90% with my Canon 30D. But now that the snow season is here, I've
hardly turned
that camera on, except at work. It seems more fun to do B&W photography
with the medium
that IS B&W; and I like using my old cameras more. This past week I've had
the M3 loaded
with APX 25, the M2 with HP5.
I guess I'm in a unique position where I don't have to digitize my pictures
unless and until I
want to put them up on the LUG gallery, which means so far I have about 10GB
of files.
