Subject: [Leica] Bad news at Leica

I put the if in there because I don't quite believe it.
I think they'd given up the R system but there was such a fuss when the S
came out and it was like they'd given it up they quickly on a PR level said
"OK already we'll do an R".  I wonder if they really do have people on it or
not.  Even if they are nicely capitalized now the S system cost millions to
develop. Sure some of that technology can go into the R but I think it a
stretch to blend that into "sure we're working on the R too".
