The current US Supreme Court, in the recent Washington DC gun case, tossed out this feeble interpretation of the Second Amendment and ruled that it established a personal right by every US resident to own firearms without let or hindrance from teh government, with the sole restriction that provisions could be made to bar convicted felons and those judged insane from owning such. It sounds clear to me: every USian who is not a convicted felon or who has not been judged insane by process of law has the right to own, or not to own, arms. Me? I own two rifles, a pistol, a couple of derelict weapons, and two sabers. Why do I own them? Because I do. Marc msmall@aya.yale.edu Cha robh b?s fir gun ghr?s fir!
