I think I forgot to announce that the November 2008 LUG Photo Contest is 
open. The theme this month is "tools".

to throw you off, I've made the icon be a picture of the kind of tools that 
you use to tighten nuts and squeeze pipes.

And today (November 16) is Elizabeth Reid's birthday.  Sniff. They grow up 
so fast.
