Thanks to the many of you who viewed this fond souvenir,
and even more thanks to the many who, on or off list, voiced an opinion, 
comment or encouraging words.

In short, the story is true - I was a teenager and I had a Foca at the 
time ( French version of "the poor's Leica " ).
I was secretly lent that M by a friend whose uncle was a professional 
reporter.
HCB was then, along Lucien CLergue and H Newton, one of my idols ;-)
I've lost the negs, only this 18x24 cm remains.

I subsequently went the reflex route; you know the rest.

Thanks again all and everyone; I was very happy to share this with you.
