The camera moves when the shutter fires. I don't like it. I"ll be doing the shutter upgrade, at least, when my warranty is close to expiration (March-ish). Noticed the?price for the M8.2 was about $6,600 ( http://asia.cnet.com/crave/2008/10/22/leica-announces-prices-for-s2-and-m8-2/?). I'll be going the upgrade route: "S"mode, vulcanite, and controllable recock don't matter much to me... As there is no automatic diaphragm on an M the camera appears to most people to be not operating. Noting going on. Flat lining. You're just pretending to take pictures. mark@rabinergroup.com Mark William Rabiner > From: <grduprey@mchsi.com> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > Date: Thu, 23 Oct 2008 07:25:00 +0000 > To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] Upgrade or M8.2 now S mode > > With the quieter shutter the delay is not needed at all, from what I could > tell. > > Gene > > -------------- Original message ---------------------- > From: John Abela <jamriman@gmail.com> >> >> I think we could all agree we could have done without the S mode. >> However I'm pissed that we can't get delayed shutter cocking as an >> upgrade option! >> Sent from my iPod >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Leica Users Group. >> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
