Hi Ira. The first shot is absolutely jaw dropping. Concours d'Elegance
indeed! I think I want one of those boat tail Rolls Royce beasts to drive
around in too.

Cheers
Geoff

I've finally found the time to work on these pictures taken a few weeks ago
at The Newport Beach Concours. This first set is B&W, taken with the M4/35
Summicron on Tri-X, with a yellow filter.

To my eyes, nothing on four wheels was so lovely as this 1937 Talbot-Lago:

The Alfa-Romeo 8C 2300 Zagato remains one of my all-time favorites:

Having sparred with a Fiat throughout my college years, here's a rare one:

A pair of unusual Rolls' - a woody wagon and a boattail Phantom:

Another rare one - 1954 Nash-Healey Le Mans Coupe;

And two totally different competition cars - 1946 Delage Grand Prix and
1964 Mercury Comet that ran the East African Safari:

I'm working on the (Canon) color pictures now and I'll post a few over the
next couple of days.

As always, comments, critiques and suggestions are always appreciated.

Best Regards,
