Low ball price point is the extreme end of the spectrum which shouldn't be brought into the discussion. This is no Canon EOS Rebel kit, we all know that. But upwards of $8k to use a camera (let's speak of the M8)? I'd love to shoot an M8, but Leica loses me with the price, and so they lose many thousands of other people like me. They reuse to grasp the market that they could and so we use other systems simply due to the price. (I won't even get into the band-aids that make the M8 really work well.) PhilFo for low ball price point? correct for optical quality? they compete and win for build quality? they compete and win for image quality? they compete and win for ergonomics? they compete and win for beautiful product design? they compete and win Fond regards, George
