Can't see why not, by the time its developed and released I suspect 30k of euros will not be worth too much ;-) The camera is obviously pretty primitive. No images of the back, no "handling" no examples, and as far as I can see no lenses on display. This puppy is further off than the DMR was when released and I waited tooooo long to get one of those. This should be a good move for Leica: its gutsy but a very good end of the market to position a small volume company: with small volume production of a small demand object. Going after the 4/3 market would have suited me, but was never going to really give them a niche. The DMR would have been a "killer" if it had come out in a timely manner. Nothing on the market would have really matched it and the same I suspect goes for the S2 BUT if there is a 2 or 3 year lag, all will be lost. H'blad are already using the promises of others to press home the fact that their cameras are "real ware", so lets hope the prototype is further down teh line than I suspect and the camera comes out of the crystal box at the show: I may be up for a new mortgage if its close ;-) Cheers Alastair
