One thing Leica does in its copasetic relationship with Panasonic with theses cameras is when they do the Leica version it really looks good. The Panasonic versions you save money but they look like junk. This one looks a bit better but NOT in red or blue. Me I've always been one to never care what my photos look like just as long as my camera looks good. Then I'm happy. I'd always kick in that extra hundred bucks and get the one with the red dot. Which would be black. And be outfitted nicely nicely. And say "Leica" on it. Or "Likely". mark@rabinergroup.com Mark William Rabiner > From: Eduardo Albesi <eduardoalbesi@ciudad.com.ar> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > Date: Fri, 12 Sep 2008 07:45:25 -0300 > To: "Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org>" <lug@leica-users.org> > Subject: [Leica] First Micro 4:3 camera > > http://www.fourthirdsphoto.com/g1/ > > 1 - Panasonic G1 > 2 - EVF "small electronic full-time Live View Finder" (ugh) > 3 - 385g, "bridge camera" form factor > 4 - Leica Vario styled zoom, but no Leica name on it > 5 - 12.something MP > 5 - Available in Black Red or Blue (sic) > > Let's hope it can mount M lenses with an adapter > > > ed > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
