Leo -

With Amazon's S3 - Secure Safe Storage -  in the USA $.15 per 
Gigabyte per month so that would be $150 per month for 1 
terrabyte.  In Europe it's $.18 or $180 per month per 
terrabyte.  There's also an upload fee and a download fee with Amazon 
and with SmugVault - Amazon's storage combined with display galleries 
from SmugMug.

If you can get by with 12 quality jpegs or PNG or Gifs, you can store 
unlimited amounts - many terrabytes - on SmugMug with a Pro account 
for $149.95 per year.  That's what I've gone with so far.
