Ric,

Same period, different approach.  This was self-help. My wife's grandfather 
saw a similar setup in a store in Wisconsin, and concluded that if it could 
be made portable, to take it where the market was, it would make money for 
them.  He got the first one made for trailering, and built another into a 
heavy trailer, pulled by a red Auburn roadster, no less, and the families 
survived on the income.  It was a hard life, but they wanted independence.
