Now all I need is a Rollei to Olympus adaptor so I can use the wonderful 85mm f1.4 ;-) Cheers --- jhnichols@bellsouth.net wrote: From: "Jim Nichols" <jhnichols@bellsouth.net> To: "Leica Users Group" <lug@leica-users.org> Subject: Re: [Leica] E3 question: using L lenses Date: Mon, 18 Aug 2008 22:22:20 -0500 Alastair, There is one other company that sells focus confirmation chips that can be added to various lens adapters for Oly 4/3 cameras. I have a Fotodiox M42 to 4/3 adapter, and purchased one of their chips and installed it. Alignment of the chip with the camera contacts appears to be quite critical. I had to remove the chip once, and shift it slightly before I got it to work, and it still is not 100% reliable. The link to the alternate chip is given below. http://store.tagotech.com/product_info.php?currency=USD&products_id=161 Jim Nichols Tullahoma, TN USA ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alastair Firkin" <afirkin@afirkin.com> To: "Leica Users Group" <lug@leica-users.org> Sent: Monday, August 18, 2008 9:08 PM Subject: [Leica] E3 question: using L lenses > Well, I bolted the 180mm summicron on the E3 and the 100mm macro.
