Doug,

Here in Tennessee, we just had a tax-free weekend for back-to -school items. 
I read in the morning paper that a local computer supplier had a lot of 
sales, all of them with XP loaded. They didn't have a single request for 
Vista.

Being retired, my software needs are relatively simple, and I have not had 
any problems except with PS Elements 5.0, which frequently locked up.  I 
upgraded to Elements 6.0 and the problem disappeared.
