Subject: [Leica] Need Bessa R2A Help

I bought my son an R2A at Christmas so I could reclaim my M6.  But, he is 
having trouble with it.  It won't advance the shutter to load film or allow 
pictures to be taken.  I've tried everything I can think of.  Is the camera 
battery dependent?  I took them out and even put new ones in and it didn't 
make a difference so I assume it's not that - but, I'm not positive.  Any 
help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
