Once you've got the lens off the focus mount, you can go further and
dismantle the lens by just using your hands. It will be tight, but you
can get the from element off by grabbing around the very front part
and unscrewing. That let's you get to the back of the front element
package, the aperature (leave it alone) and the inside rear element.

Don't bother if it doesn't need it though, of course.
