I use mine pretty exclusively with the 12-24 where it performs well as long as you -- as you said, keep it at 200 asa and don't mind waiting 20 seconds for it to turn on. when looking at it, i asked myself "would i pay $250 for a dedicated 12-24 camera if it was a pain to use?" and i figured it was a bargan. it also works really well with the 85 1.8 and the 50 1.8, because you can get closer. it's a nice addition to the cabinet until i can afford a D3. i've tried the DX 18-70 on it and it prints like a fisheye, you can see the circle in the frame -- but you can test that out on the nikon F photonic you have sitting on your shelf..... if you see one for $300, i recommend picking one up. now, i'll fight you for the batteries.... _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
