Of course all of us could be in the Middle East where it was a balmy 130F.
Warm breezes off the Gulf not withstanding. In a day or so the high
pressure ridge will move off the coast and temperatures will drop fifteen
degrees or so. I have a friend building a hotel just outside Boulder and
she could not get a Certificate of Occupancy because the three feet of snow
on the ground kept her from finishing the landscaping. So, all weather is
local. I hear drinking gin helps with the heat.
