I also ordered one of these.  It may provide more relief when used with 
your spectacles, and after focusing it will flip out of the way for 
careful composition:
Ebay item number 330240513347     He has three of these listed.

I have one made by Pentax for the Spotmatic and other screw mount 
bodies... I used to use it a lot years back.  Unfortunately, it doesn't 
fit other cameras, including K mount Pentax cameras, nor will it fit on 
my E-510.

I haven't needed kind of magnifier for Pentax isDS, K10D or for my R8 as 
the viewfinders are very bright.
