Subject: [Leica] OT Query - Canon FD lenses/cameras

When I was at Webster College in the early 70's the Canon TLb was one of the
School cameras you'd check out. A Pentax Spotmatic was another than that one
usually went first.

With the Canon TLb you'd tear the film out of the cartridge after the last
shot. The thumb ratcheting thing was just too good for its own good or your
good.
With later versions they fixed this.
That or any SLR of the day was clunky compared to the Spotmatic (not a spot)
but was totally serviceable and I liked it.
Glass was just fine...
If not super multi coated Takumar's
