Even the charger is not 120/240 a small step down transformer can be used. It should not cost more that 10-20 Euros. Here in the USA, a small step down transformer - part of a Travel Kit - at Radio Shack sells for under $ 20. Thus, if the Olympus 410 is cheap enough, just order it and get a transformer locally. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Philippe AMARD" <philippe.amard@tele2.fr> To: "liste leica reflex" <leicareflex@freelists.org>; "Leica Users Group" <lug@leica-users.org> Sent: Sunday, 18 May, 2008 12:59 PM Subject: [Leica] OT : voltage question to US residents - URGENT - Olies > Hi All, > > my daughter would like to get an Oly for her birthday (soon), and we've > had a look at the auction site. > Prices are plummeting in the US on a model she covets (410 double kit). > Only hitch, we don't know if Olies delivered in the US are 110V exclusive. > And Europe has a 220 v standard. > Could any , or more, of you let me know if the charger / adaptor is 220 v > compatible? > > Thanks in anticipation for swift replies as we wouldn't like to miss the > auction, or buy some gear that would be hard to operate over here. > Phx > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >
