Subject: [Leica] Who on the LUG owns the "other" digital Leica-the DMR ?

Jim,

I'll try to catch your exhibit if I make it to Boston over the summer.

You showed many of your R8 photos at the LUG dinner organized by Howard and
Joseph at the Aberdeen Yacht Club in Y2K. You were then greatly outnumbered
by M6 shooters. I just got back from Indochina myself, so now I can really
appreciate the effort it takes to trek in SE Asia for weeks at a time with a
load of camera gear. You might recall that I had my teenagers with me at
dinner (various Cummers were there too -- it was summer vacation). My
youngest, now working in Guangdong, sends back streams of photos from her
forays off the track in rural China. I'm thinking she's continuing a nice
tradition.

Mark,

If you can make the trek across the country to Boston, please take in the
exhibit at Mass General Hospital starting June 1 till September of a showing
of works of ten artists, which includes an exhibit of mine of ten 17 x 20
from Burma, China, Thailand, India and Indonesia. The hospital has a
wonderful program that they call "Illuminations" that is intended to inspire
cancer patients while they are undergoing therapy.

I've got a website of Asian images (in need of updating) at
http://home.netvigator.com/~jnelon
And if you can get to the Boston area, I'd love to show you some of the
thirty or so analog (and some digital) slide shows of Asia countries
(Vietnam, Cambodia, China, Pakistan, Indonesia, etc.) using four projectors
(Leica lenses), two screens with surround sound, accompanied with some nice
wine to sooth the experience.

That's nice how big is your portfolio and what kind of paper do you use for
digital as well as darkroom?
Do you keep them in the same stack?
I do with 11x14's.

8x10s and 8.5x11's don't seem to work so well in the same stack.

How many prints?
