Subject: [Leica] Did Canon do the first Noctilux?

If I recall the exchange at Danang was selling Canon rangefinders with 
the F 0.95 lens in 1966. Perhaps they predated the Nocti? After 40 odd 
years I still remember it to be unwieldy.
