Steve,

When I first aligned my M8 rangefinder I tested 6 or 7 lenses to make  
sure I didn't screw everything else up. I took maybe 15 photos after  
each adjustment. It took me two days before I was happy. Every lens i  
had from 50mm and wider was nearly perfect. I had 3 or 4 long lenses  
I could only use on film cameras.
