Canon just re-designed their 50/1.2 and it gets great reviews and not like 
the older one was bad or anything!

Rumor is Nikon may come out with redesigned 50's and maybe even a 28 and 
85mm. The 28/1.4 now surpasses $2500 if you can get one! I 
only got to use one once when the local Sheriff's dept ordered one.

That lens would be awesome on my D3!
