Graham,

Fascinating shot.

It says a lot about the evolution of the village with the church next to The
Big
House which dominates what is presumably "Home Farm", which would have been
biggest farm in the village, I guess. The range of buildings with the very
old
ones that have been re-roofed a number of times in various differing
materials -
and in one case developed and Velux let in! - not to mention the various
different styles of windows and roofing in the main house. It tells a lot of
stories. Looks like the tower of the church has been re-built at least once.
I
wonder whether it was a deliberate re-build or the existi8ng tower
collapsed. Do
  you know?

Every picture tells a story!
