When I say the 820c doesn't work that well, I mean that its IR 
sensitivity is minimal. The Rollei and Ilford products have almost no 
IR sensitivity.

Hotspotting is a lens issue, not a shutter issue. Once you find the 
right lenses, you won't have hot spots. My M4 never hot-spotted, and 
neither did the other Leicas I used.
