Tarek Charara asked:

>>>Is the 400/6.8 usable without the shoulder stock (?). It looks like a
heavy lens...<<<

Hi Tarek,

It's as light as a feather because it's nothing than an empty metal tube
with a lens at the very front end and that's it.

Put the shoulder brace and pistol grip with micro switch shutter release
with a motor drive and you can blaze away like "shooting ducks in a barrel!"

I used it and the 560mm slide barrel shooting sports for years, best two
rapid action with motor drive of any lens camera motor drive combination
made by any manufacturer.

The secret is the micro switch in the pistol grip wired to the motor drive
and you can put a machine gun to shame if you wish to do a burst shoot. Or
it's click click without taking your eye away from the view finder following
the subject keeping it sharp and clicking frames off. Wonderful combination.
Without any weight whatsoever!
