Out of the blue I got a call.

 

A local gallery in Berkshires is interested in showing some my works. From
my site they pulled an image I made last year but it is completely out of my
usual style of B&W portraits. It is from a Summer evening, when frustrated

with the dwindling light, and lack of tripod I said "screw it" and went for
the most motion and longest shutter speed.

Hi Eric,

Very interesting and intriguing simply because it works! Obviously some
better than others.

It certainly makes one think of having a go at it if using a digital camera
without the cost of film and processing. Certainly in an experimental manner
where you might end up all thrown away.

I use what I call a "Swishy pan action" when shooting sports when I'm
killing time and refer to the images as "Sport Art." Actually sold several
of a speed skater very nicely blurred with the colours of his country in the
uniform adding to the skaters' motion effect.

But your series is most interesting and effective, well done mon ami.
