The focus issue is the main reason I finally packed it in with Leica
lenses on my Canon.
I just can't afford to walk away with miss-focused shots.
(It was weird to see a lens I had sold on the Lug on Ebay the other day)
In spite of the focus problem, the clarity with Leica glass is just
unbelievable.

Good call, Slobadan, in one detail. When I reviewed the photos later,
I could not believe that I had not taken a photograph of Amy's HANDS!
Let's see, what do you use to play a piano . . . duh! Otherwise, I
did take other angles and distances, but these seemed like the best.
I sure wish Olympus had auto-focus confirmation of some kind for
these manual focus lenses. The somewhat dim stage-light was not as
easy to focus as a spot-on M3 rangefinder, that's for sure. So a
fair number of soft-focus images hit the cutting room flo. . . er,
Recycle Bin. But when focus is on, that Summilux is one sweet lens!
