It is the same with Belgian beer abroad--the most popular one is  
probably Stella Artois, which I would drink only in an emergency when  
I lived in Belgium (i.e. when the alternative would be to hit the  
wife's perfume). But in the UK it is considered a premium beer.  
Brilliant marketing.
