Jayanand, I had a G1 for twelve months, then a G2. I used the 28, 45, and 
90. I think that both cameras are superb ergonomically as
well as extremely well put together. I wished that the viewfinders were less 
squinty.
The auto focus requires careful pre-focus, locking then recomposing. I 
didn't mind that at all. I regard all three lenses as very
sharp and great performers.
In my opinion all of the G equipment is superb value on the second hand 
market. I finally sold all of mine to start with Leica M's

I have been offered a Contax G1 with the 45mm Planar in very good condition.
Has anyone had any experience with this outfit? The price is right - under 
US$200 - I have read mixed reviews of the body, but
uniform raves about the lens, but I would like feedback born out of first 
hand experiences.
