I did it mainly to accommodate all the darned new software. The new notebook is much faster with graphics. Which means my oldest daughter is constantly hogging it to watch anime. As far as sweating CS3 and the like, I'm still using CS2. I haven't needed the so called extra features, and I don't shot raw. Though, this coming week I have a request for raw, and they want it shipped in raw. Which means I don't have to deal with it. My next computer will probably be an iMac. s.d.
