This photo is of an African Violet bud from a plant I bought last year to experiment with Ultra violet photography. Well the flower stopped flowering after I had the plant about a week and never flowered again until this bud came out a couple of days ago. So I hurried up and took a photo of it before the bud fell off or the flower died or something else bad. <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/LeonardT/Flowers/Violet.jpg.html> or http://tinyurl.com/33v7en The photo was taken with the 90mm Macro-Elmar mounted on a Canon 5D with the help of a Canon to R adapter mounted on the Leica R to M adapter 14167. I also added the macro adapter with the googles to add a little more extension to the lens. Here is the Ultra violet shot of the same flower taken last year. <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/LeonardT/UV/UV_1.jpg.html> or http://tinyurl.com/3b4l46 This photo was taken in a more conventional manner with a Nikon D2X, bellows, enlarging lens and a B+W 403 UV filter and a black light. Thanks for looking, Len
