Thanks, that helps.....sounds like a D2x would be my preference.....from
this angle...
No aperture ring? AE only? Or manual exposure through t he LCD display?
What happened to creative license? Did the accountants grab it all?

At least
all my manual focus lenses still work perfectly on my D2X. The other
stupid thing Nikon is doing is following Canon in removing the
aperture ring. ;-(
