My favorite is the first one, the tree on the center of the composition give
a very nice contrast,

This pond was the source of half of the water needed to supply the Middlesex
Canal, (Lowell to Boston) before the coming of steam trains.

The maple tree shown in the middle photo stands on the banks of one of the
three locks on this site, now a roadway.
